Uncovering interrelationships between barriers to unmanned aerial vehicles in humanitarian logistics

Recent disasters, such as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, have sparked an interest in new applications for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) humanitarian aid. Nevertheless, there are still many divisive changes that need to be made order implement UAVs into a country’s sector successfully. Hence, this paper aims analyze various barriers hindering implementation of logistics both developed and developing nations. To accomplish this, study is presented three steps. First, previous literature opinions from experts analyzed illuminate particular factors hinder UAV implementation. Next, we propose interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy set (IVIFS) based graph theory matrix approach (GTMA) calculate drone hindrance index (DIHI). The GTMA method used utilizes PERMAN algorithm permanent function. Finally, DIHI values plotted compare readiness between economies. A sensitivity analysis then performed provide validity results obtained. has revealed types countries must first improve their inadequate government regulations regarding UAVs. Developing also focus on enhancing technological awareness population. can by policymakers practitioners smoothly country's sector. general defined calculated specific using steps mentioned manuscript.
